A Wicked
Fresh Start
About us
Wicked Welly Farm and Apiary is a family run farm in Belwood, Ontario. Our 25-acre farm raises a variety of livestock on a small scale, has a 6-hive honey bee apiary and does homemade preserves, maple syrup and freeze-dried products, all of which are sold at our on-farm store.
We also collaborate with other farms to offer our community a variety of seasonal fresh produce, fall decor items and more. This year we’re expanding to include a ½ acre organic vegetable garden. We plan to grow a variety of vegetables including salad greens, tomatoes, cucumber, radish, beets and much more. Look out for more information about our on-site Market over the Summer!
This year we are working hard to bring a variety of healthy, locally grown, delicious food to our community which includes Microgreens!
Microgreens are a super-food that provide a number of health benefits including cancer-fighting properties and an excellent way to boost Vitamin A, Fiber, Iron, and Vitamin K. Microgreens are young vegetable greens that fall somewhere between sprouts and baby leaf vegetables. They grow to approximately 1–3 inches (2.5–7.5 cm) tall and have an intense aromatic flavor and concentrated nutrient content. Find out more about our microgreen varieties and more ways to incorporate them into your diet on the back of this flyer!
